A fire appears to have broken out in a suburb of North London this afternoon (November 17).
Posting on Twitter, a resident shared a photo of a “big plume of black smoke” in Enfield.
The cause of the smoke has not been confirmed.
It appears to come from a residential area in New Southgate.
The London Fire Brigade have been approached for new information.
The Twitter user wrote: “Big plume of black smoke over Bounds Green, looks like a big fire, hope everyone is OK!”
