‘Person pronounced dead at the scene’ – British Transport Police
The British Transport Police have confirmed that a person has tragically died following the incident.
A spokesman said: “British Transport Police were called to Turnham Green Underground station at 2.09pm today (16 November) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“This incident is not being treated a suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

A London Ambulance service spokesman added: “We were called at 2.07pm today (16 November) to reports of a person injured by a train at Turnham Green Station.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a clinical team leader, an incident response officer, and a hazardous area response team. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“Sadly a person died at the scene.”
