Man charged with possession of Class A drugs in Tower Hamlets

A man has been charged with the possession of Class A drugs at a property in East London.

Officers conducting patrols in Tower Hamlets on Monday arrested and charged the man with possession of crack cocaine and heroin in the communal area of Weddell House on Duckett Street.

Late on Monday night, Tower Hamlets Police tweeted: “One male was a arrested and charged for possession of Crack Cocaine and Heroin inside the communal area of Weddell House E1.”

The maximum penalty if found guilty of possession of Class A drugs is seven years in prison, an unlimited fine or both.
