Glu, a business created by Lacé Marie, have pods available to hire across Herts, as well as in North London, Surrey and Bedfordshire.
Their Christmas igloo is priced at £250 for overnight hire and £40 for an extra night.
£50 is required to secure the booking and the remaining amount can be paid on the day.
Lacé was inspired to set-up the venture when she lost her job during the early stages of the pandemic.
“I was made redundant during the first lockdown and decided to start my own small candle business called Lacé Marie Home,” she said.
“Since then, I’ve expanded my business to include home decor and the addition of the igloo has given me the opportunity to share my love for interior design and home decor with others.
“I also really wanted to create something that would help people connect with friends and family after the lockdown restrictions were eased, without the need to travel.
“l love being creative with both my businesses and having the opportunity to travel around Hertfordshire, North London, and Surrey. I’ve also met some amazing people along the way.”

If you’re hiring one then you’ll need to make sure there is enough space for the igloo and that it’s fairly close to a power point.
All of the igloos available for hire include a heater, lights, blankets, speaker and a bottle of mulled wine or a non-alcoholic alternative, as well as a homemade festive-scented hand-poured candle.
While they don’t offer food, they have a caterer that they can recommend to customers.
“We also offer a ‘Date Night’ setting which is perfect for dinner parties and drinks,” added Lacé, who says the company is fully insured.
“Our ‘Morrocan Chill’ theme is more relaxed and great for cosy catch ups. We are currently working on an ‘Afternoon Tea’ and a ‘Baby Shower’ theme.
“Our themes can be tailored to suit the customer. You can also hire the igloo without decoration, giving customers the freedom to get creative.”
She continued: “Our Christmas igloo is a super cosy festive experience. It’s not just great for Christmas Day but for the entire run-up to Christmas and even New Year’s Eve.
“We do all the hard work, all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy!”
