Roads and Transport MPS registered a notable success in their fight against illegal drugs last night (November 9) when police officers stopped a car in the Park Royal area of west London.
PC Keen and PC Morrison were on patrol when they spotted a Ford Fiesta travelling in excess of the speed limit for the area.
On stopping the car the officers smelled cannabis coming from the boot of the vehicle. This led to the discovery of what they later described as a “huge quantity” of the drug.
Roads and Transport MPS later tweeted: “The smell of cannabis coming from the boot led them to find a huge quantity.
“Driver arrested and taken into custody. Drugs seized.”
