Train and Underground lines in North West London have been severely disrupted after a ‘casualty on the tracks’.
The incident, in which the person sadly died, happened at Moor Park Underground station at around 12.40pm today.
The Metropolitan Line is closed between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Rickmansworth. There are severe delays between Rickmansworth and Chesham / Amersham.
Chiltern Railways between Marylebone and Aylesbury is also suspended.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police told MyLondon: “Officers were called to Moor Park Underground station at 12.42pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
