Twenty years on from when Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first hit our TV screens, dozens of young actors have turned their childhood roles into fully-fledged acting careers.
And it’s not just Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson who are now sitting on multi-million pound fortunes as a result of all their hard work.
In fact, some arguably went on to bigger and better things than the three main cast members.

Robert Pattinson portrayed loyal and courageous Hufflepuff Cedric Diggory in the fourth Harry Potter film – Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The 35-year-old only starred in this one film, though, as his place as one of four competitors in the Triwizard Tournament came to an abrupt end when he was murdered by Voldemort who hit him with the infamous Killing Curse.

From Harry Potter, Pattinson went on to star as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series of films, winning over the hearts of teenage girls as he played Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) vampire love interest.
The pair soon struck up a real-life romance off set, too.
After three years of dating, Stewart was photographed with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, revealing an affair in July 2012.
The day the photos were released, Sanders, who was 19 years older than Stewart and married at the time, issued a public apology for the affair.

The pair split, but rekindled their romance in October 2012 – eventually breaking up for good around seven months later.
Sources close to Pattinson said that he was ‘humiliated’ and ‘traumatised’ after what happened, according to the London Evening Standard.
Kristen stated at the time: “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

Rupert, who was married and had two children to wife Liberty Ross, added: “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family.
“My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying we can get through this together.”
Pattinson is now dating Hammersmith-born model Suki Waterhouse, 29 – and they have been together since the middle of 2018. They now live in London together.
Her modelling career began after she was discovered in a Topshop in London when she was 16, and three years later she became a lingerie model for Marks and Spencer.
Waterhouse dated Hangover and A Star is Born actor Bradley Cooper for two years between 2013 and 2015 – with a 17-year age gap between the pair.
Waterhouse has also starred in a number of films and TV shows, most notably as Marlene in the Divergent sequel Insurgent, and as Quintana in Billionaire Boys Club.
Since finding fame in the Harry Potter and Twilight franchises, Pattinson has gone on to enjoy success in the forms of a number of roles.
Next year, he will grace our cinema screens once again in the new Batman film. According to CelebrityNetWorth, the star is estimated to be worth about $100 million.
