Stabbing and shooting leaves two men injured in West London

Two men aged 28 and 31 were found with gunshot wounds in the early hours of Saturday morning (November, 6) in West London.

Firearms officers, London Ambulance Services and police attended to reports of shots being fired on Standard Road at 5.30am in Acton.

The 28-year-old man also sustained stab injuries and was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The man, aged 31, had a gunshot wound to his hand and was taken to hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening.

A number of cordons and closures have been established in the surrounding area and a Section 60 has been authorised in East Acton from 9:00am until 23:59pm November, 6.

Police have also initiated a Section 35 dispersal order in the east Acton ward area from 08:30am until 08:30am on November, 8.

This incident is not being treated as terror related and no arrests have been made.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 1616/06Nov.
