West Ham team confirmed vs Genk as Moyes makes seven changes with Vladimir Coufal starting

West Ham manager David Moyes has made seven changes to his team to take on Genk at the Cegeka Arena in the Europa Conference League.

In goal, Moyes has opted to once again start with Alphonse Areola in Europe with Lukasz Fabianski on the bench.

Vladimir Coufal has returned from his groin injury and is handed his first start since the loss to Brentford ahead of the October international break, with Ben Johnson dropping out of the team. Aaron Cresswell retains his spot despite Ryan Fredericks return from injury.

The two full-backs flank Craig Dawson and Issa Diop at the heart of the defence with the pair striking up a fine partnership in recent weeks.

In midfield, Moyes has recalled club captain Mark Noble and he pairs Declan Rice at the heart of the Hammers 4-2-3-1 formation.

The rested Tomas Soucek is named on the substitutes’ bench but the manager will be hoping he is not needed and able to have the night off in preparation for Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

Moyes has changed up the Hammers attacking quartet with Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals replaced in the team by Arthur Masuaku and Manuel Lanzini.
