How to watch live ITV special at London Palladium and why tickets are not available

Adele fans have been having a good few weeks, and it seems things are only set to get better.

The singer has confirmed she will be performing on An Audience with Adele on ITV later this month. But when is it on and what can we expect? Here’s everything you need to know.

What is An Audience with Adele?

An Audience With Adele will see the artist perform her current record-breaking no 1 single “Easy On Me”, as well as featuring more songs from her highly anticipated forthcoming album, 30. Due for release on 19 November, 30 will be Adele’s fourth album and the first new music from her since 2015.

The one-off concert, held at the London Palladium, will also include performances of many of her classic hits in front of a specially invited audience of friends, family, fans, her own personal heroes and heroines, fellow musicians, artists, actors, sportspeople and more.

With an incredible 11.5 million albums sold in the UK alone and hits such as “Hello”, “Someone Like You”, “Rolling In The Deep”, “When We Were Young”, Adele has become one of the most successful UK artists of all time.

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV, said: “As one of the world’s most in-demand stars, we are beyond thrilled to bring this one-off night to ITV. Adele is a remarkable artist and this will be a very special event.”

Ben Winston of Fulwell 73 Productions, the company producing both specials, wrote on Instagram: “I grew up loving An Audience With specials on ITV – so to be coming back to London to produce this, with a one of a kind artist – the incredible Adele, is literally a dream come true.”

Adele will also sit down with Oprah Winfrey to launch 30, with a second special, Adele: One Night Only, to air on US network CBS on 14 November.

As well as chatting with Oprah, the CBS special will see her perform at Los Angeles Griffith Observatory.

When will it be on?

An Audience With Adele will air on ITV on November 21. It will also be available on ITV Hub. ITV says: “Following the release of the multi-award winning singer’s new album 30, ITV viewers will have a front row seat to An Audience With Adele when it airs on primetime and ITV Hub later this month.”

When is her new album out?

The new album is set to arrive two days beforehand on 19 November, in one of the most hotly-anticipated British music releases in recent years.

It is the follow-up to 2015’s 25, reflecting on a tumultuous period in the singer’s life amid her divorce from charity boss Simon Konecki.

They will take place on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July 2022.
