As the weather starts to get colder, more of us are starting to think about winter holidays, whether snowy or sunny.
London Stansted Airport has added a range of new destinations to its departures boards, including three new routes to Scandinavia.
Daily flights to Stockholm in Sweden and Helsinki in Finland are now on offer from Ryanair, Stansted’s biggest airline.

Ryanair will also be flying to Tampere in Finland twice a week.

Other new routes added by Ryanair include to Trapani and Treviso in Italy, Zagreb in Croatia, and Oradea in Romania.
Jet2, the second-biggest airline at the airport, is also increasing their flights to the Canary Islands for sunseekers this winter.
The budget airline are also adding a flight to Chambery in the Alps, so time to get ready to go skiing.
Neringa Ohrstrom, Head of Airport Marketing at London Stansted Airport, said: “After a very challenging 18 months for the aviation sector, it’s great to see airlines launching exciting new routes from London Stansted this winter.

“The new services to Helsinki, Stockholm, and Tampere are perfect additions to the excellent network of the Nordic destinations we already fly to across Norway, Denmark and Iceland.”
She added: “The launch of Jet2.com’s new service to Chambery from London Stansted is fantastic news for skiers and snowboarders from across the region looking to hit the slopes this season.
“The airline now flies to five top ski destinations from the airport, giving winter sports fans great choice and easy access as they head off to the mountains.”
