Man, 18, stabbed in back and shoulder and boy, 14, found with cuts in Hayes 

An 18-year old man and 14-year-old boy were injured following an incident in Hayes, Hillingdon, last night.

Officers attended Botwell Lane, Hayes, just before 9.30pm last night (October 30) to find a large group of youths ‘behaving in a disorderly manner’.

Police found a 14-year-old boy with superficial injuries including cuts to his back and fingers.

A while later, an 18-year-old man attended hospital with stab wounds to his back and shoulder.

Neither person is in a life-threatening condition. Police have put a crime scene in place and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Officers have made no arrests.

Witnesses are urged to call police on 101, referencing 8138/30oct, if they have any information.

The Metropolitan Police released a statement today (October 31): “At 21:26hrs on Saturday, 30th October, police attended Botwell Lane, Hayes where there was a large group of youths behaving in a disorderly manner.

“Whilst officers were there a 14-year-old boy was located with superficial injuries consisting of cuts to his back and fingers.

“A short time later a second male, aged 18 years, presented himself to hospital with stab wounds to his back and shoulder. Neither is in a life-threatening condition.

“A crime scene is in place and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. There have been no arrests.”
