Metropolitan Police have closed the A13 Commercial Road both ways as they respond to a serious incident.
London Fire Brigade, paramedics and police responders from Tower Hamlets station are on the scene of a serious road traffic collision which took place late on Saturday night near the junction of Butchers Row.
Police are warning that the road could be closed for some time whilst an investigation takes place.
Tower Hamlets Police tweeted at 12.19am: “Warning: Due to a serious road collision on Commercial Road, it is currently closed East and West bound, just West of junction with Butchers Row as investigation is completed.
“Please avoid the area”
