The A112 Albert Road in Woolwich has been closed in both directions due to a police incident between A117 Pier Road (Woolwich) and Hartmann Road (Silvertown).
The closure, immediately south of City Airport, took place shortly after 3am on Sunday, October 31, and it is currently not yet known when the road will reopen, or whether there were any injuries in connection with the early-hours incident.
The closure of the road has resulted in the diversion of the night bus (N474) which used the route. It is again not yet known when the bus will resume its normal route into Sunday morning, and when other road traffic will be able to resume.
