A new ‘cheating map’ has revealed how many people are having affairs in towns across the UK – and there are hundreds of unfaithful partners in south east London.
The figures are based on Illicit Encounters’ own extensive data on the numbers of people cheating.
The interactive Infidelity Index allows users to search a city, town or postcode to discover how many people are having affairs in any locality.
The figures from Illicit Encounters, the UK’s leading affairs dating website, found that the London borough with the highest number of affairs is Bromley.
A huge 4.7% of the Bromley population are having affairs – which totals 14,586 people.
In second position was Tower Hamlets, with 13,659 affairs going on – totalling 4.27% of the population.
The most faithful London borough was revealed to be Ealing, with 11,241 affairs and only 1.39% of the population as cheaters.

On the whole, London is actually pretty faithful as the city came 51st out of 52 cities in cheating rankings.
There are 168,322 affairs going on this year in London – which amounts to 0.55% of the population.
This compares to 151,409 affairs going on last year in London – showing the figures of cheaters have risen.
