Few players have dared to make the move from Arsenal to Tottenham Hotspur.
The most recent was French defender William Gallas, who joined Spurs in 2010 after plying his trade at the Emirates Stadium for four years.
Now, the Independent have claimed that the Lillywhites are targeting former Gunner Emiliano Martinez if club-captain Hugo Lloris leaves N17 at the end of this season.
Lloris’ deal at the club is due to expire next summer and the aforementioned report claims that Tottenham have been exploring the viability of signing the Argentine international just two years after he departed north London – when he decided to join Aston Villa for £20million back in the summer of 2020.

Since signing for Dean Smith’s side, Martinez has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most reliable goalkeepers, registering an impressive 15 league clean sheets last season, a tally that only Edouard Mendy of Chelsea and Ederson of Manchester City bettered.
