Rylan Clark updates worried fans after ‘breaking down during his BBC show’

Strictly’s It Takes Two presenter Rylan Clark has issued an update on his health to fans after a breakdown after his Radio 2 show.

He reportedly ended up crying as a song played on his BBC show when it all got too much for him last month, due to struggling following his recent divorce.

The 32-year-old TV presenter wanted to reassure fans that he is doing well.

Rylan is said to have been offered a break from his show by BBC bosses

He wrote on Twitter: “Couple of news stories today. Be assured, I’m good. I wasn’t but I am now x.”

Fans wrote messages back in support, including fellow TV presenter Paddy McGuinness who replied: “Hope you’re well pal.”

A fan wrote: “I just wanna give him a big hug.”

The TV and radio star has been offered a year off by the BBC following the breakdown after bosses became concerned for his wellbeing.

Rylan confirmed that he and his husband Dan Neal were separating after seven years of marriage.

At the time, he said: “We are currently prioritising our mental health. I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love.”

The couple met when Dan appeared on Big Brother and Rylan was presenting the spin-off show, Big Brother’s Bit on the Side .

Rylan is said to have recently asked the BBC to drop his ex’s last name, requesting to be known as just Rylan.
