Distressing video shows ‘knife wielding man’ in a wheelchair ‘charging’ at schoolchildren at bus stop

A distressing video has been put on social media which appears to show a wheelchair user charging at groups of people with a knife in his hand.

The man appears to charge at schoolchildren and members of the public as they wait for a bus in West London.

The video, taken in Hayes Town, has caused widespread backlash about its use on social media. It is yet to be taken down.

It was posted two days ago and the person behind the post claims the man in the wheelchair is known by the nickname K1.

Comments on the video even claim that this is not the first time they have seen the same man allegedly produce a knife.

The man is apparently seen wheeling at top speed towards people waiting for the bus and also towards schoolchildren.

Members of the public at the bus stop run out the mans way

At first it seems people don’t realise he has what looks like a knife, but then people start screaming as he appears to produce the bladed article. The man filming seems to find the incident amusing.

Dozens of people are seen jumping out the way of the man and one man even runs into the road.

After appearing to make two charges at different groups he is wheeled off by an unknown male and continues past the bus stop.

The shocking video was posted on TikTok and has since had more than 300,000 views.

In the video there is a group waiting for the E6 bus. It runs from Rockware Avenue/Greenford Station to Bulls Bridge Tesco.

The comments on TikTok criticise the video and claim that it shouldn’t ‘glorify violence’ on the streets of London.

One angry commenter said: “This video is disgusting. Children are dying on London streets every day because of knife crime. This only makes it more glorified.”

Another said: “How upsetting. One swing and he could have killed anyone.”

Finally another simply put: “Wow.”

The Metropolitan Police were contacted but they had not received a report about the incident.
