An upcoming reality show Peckham’s Finest will follow the antics of South London’s diverse crowd – in a bid to compete with the likes of TOWIE and Made In Chelsea.

Stars including Capital XTRA DJ Teeshow and a backup dancer for superstar Lizzo named Mojo have signed up to the hotly-anticipated ITV2 series. 

It will take viewers south of the River Thames in order to capture an arty and vibrant pocket of the city’s biggest 10 personalities.

Producers are promising to capture all aspects of the cast’s lives, from ‘blossoming romances to doomed relationships’, as well as ‘new friendships to broken ties’.

Exciting ventures and everyday dramas are set to keep the viewers gripped from week-to-week as South London’s unsung heroes follow their passions. 

A personality-loaded cast will include a diverse range of faces. Creators of The Masked Singer have signed up the likes of a fashion boutique owner, an influencer, a dance teacher as well as a drag performer.

Body confidence coach Mojo already boasts a whopping 87k followers on Instagram and said her grandma is ‘mortified’ that she danced ‘with her bum out’ alongside Lizzo at Glastonbury Festival.

She revealed, ‘I would say the show is about twenty-something-year-olds from Peckham navigating their way through working class life.

‘It’s highlighting working class black people in a different light, a better light. But I also say when asked about the show to imagine if Real Housewives of Atlanta and Towie had a love child.’

Peter Tierney, Commissioning Editor, ITV2 teased, ‘With a truly authentic, unique and diverse cast, the series will reflect life in Peckham in a way that our viewers can engage with and relate to.

‘It promises stories full of warmth, humour and drama, told in a really contemporary way,’ he added.

Peckham’s Finest will premiere on Wednesday October 20 on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
