A London shopping centre has been evacuated after a fire broke out in a small shop.
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters raced to Westfield Stratford City shopping centre just after 10am this morning.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire, but witnesses reported seeing smoke “everywhere” around the middle floor.
Helicopters were also reported flying overhead.
A statement from LFB said: “Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop on Montifichet Road in Stratford.

“Firefighters tackled a small fire within a shop on the first floor of a shopping centre. The shopping centre was evacuated and no injuries were reported.
“The Brigade was called at 1003 and the fire was under control by 1144. Fire crews from Stratford, Leytonstone, Leyton, Plaistow and other surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire will be investigated.”
The fire was brought under control at 11.44am, the London Fire Brigade said.
A Met Police spokesman said: “We are supporting London Fire Brigade with evacuation of the Westfield Shopping Centre in Newham following reports of a fire”.

Journalist Sara Perria tweeted: “#Westfield in #Stratford, #London. is being evacuated now, helicopters flying above it and a number of police cars and fire engines around it. Upside, people walked out if the restaurant without paying a £3.8 latte.”
Another person tweeted :”There’s smoke everywhere around the middle floor.”
