DJ Pete Tong to perform at Harlequins Big Game 13 double-header at Twickenham

Quins men face Northampton in the Premiership and Quins women meet Wasps in the Allianz Premier 15s on December 27 at Twickenham Stadium, just a short walk from their usual home, the Stoop.

Between the two matches (the women come first), Tong will perform a 25-minute DJ set for what is anticipated to be a sellout crowd of 82,000. Quins have promised “a spectacular lightshow and dancers”.

Quins CEO Laurie Dalrymple was delighted to have Tong on board, saying: “Big Game is truly London’s biggest rugby party, and the addition of an internationally renowned music pioneer in Pete Tong is befitting of the biggest annual club game in rugby”.

Tong added: “I have been fortunate to play at some of the most iconic venues and events around the world for over three decades now, but Big Game holds special appeal to me.

“As a South West London resident, it feels great to be returning home to play for my community on the biggest stage in world rugby. After the challenging last 18 months we have all faced through COVID, Big Game 13 is a time to come together with friends and family to celebrate – and I can’t wait to be a central part of that!”
