The Chase returned with four contestants on Monday evening (October 11) as the team tried to win a cash prize.
Viewers of the ITV quiz show love to comment and offer their opinion across social media and tonight’s episode sparked a frenzy for a number of reasons.
During the episode, three contestants: Tim, Steve and Holly made it through to the final chase with £16k in their prize pot.
Collectively the team managed to answer a brilliant 21 questions correctly during the final chase giving chaser Jenny Rayan a run for her money.
But the Vixen beat the team with 10 seconds still on the clock.

Host Bradley Walsh praised the team for their brilliant performance but said they would have needed to get 24 or 25 questions correctly to beat the chaser during tonights game.
However, viewers watching the ITV quiz show at home were left fuming and accused Bradley of reading Jenny’s questions more quickly in comparison to the team.
Fans also said the Vixen’s questions were easier despite the players choosing which set of questions they want to answer ‘A’ or ‘B’ during the break.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: “The Chasers questions are always easier than the contestants. #thechase.”

A second wrote: “I’m sure Bradley reads the Chaser’s questions faster. Or is it that they answer quicker and therefore seems faster #TheChase.”
