ITV England: Jermain Defoe’s love life from dating Alexandra Burke to Chantelle Houghton and his heartwarming friendship with six-year-old terminally ill boy

As England take on Andorra on Saturday there will be one pundit who knows what it’s like to put two past the landlocked nation sandwiched between Spain and France.

Jermain Defoe slotted home two goals in a 2009 Wembley six goal thriller, with Wayne Rooney also netting a double as England steamrollered the Iberian minnows.

Now behind the microphone, Rangers star Defoe will be joined by Roy Keane and his “inspiration” Ian Wright to look back at the goals and decisions as they happen at the Estadi Nacional from Saturday 7:45pm on ITV One.

It might be an injury hit England squad, but a 4-0 win in the reverse fixture and the availability of Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka should give fans confidence going into the game.

As England fans listen to Defoe’s half-time reaction they might be surprised to know the ex-Tottenham striker was just as effective in the bedroom as he was in front of goal.

At one time the east-Londoner was seeing at least three other women while with with single mum Stephanie Moule, who said he did naked headstands before having sex. The couple’s secret romp lasted seven years.

Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton labelled him a ‘nasty little rat’ after a 2012 romp

At one time he also bedded David Beckham’s younger sister Joanne, but called it off to focus on his football career, according to The Mirror .

Love-rat Defoe also briefly dated Miss Great Britain model Danielle Lloyd, but it quickly ended after she found out about his Tottenham love nest with Moule.

Another notch on Defoe’s splintered bedpost was Imogen Thomas, who might stir a few memories of the Manchester United cheater Ryan Giggs – the couple had an affair while the Welsh Wizard wasn’t busy in bed with his brother’s wife.

Model Thomas spent some time in Defoe’s penalty box before before he moved on to reality TV star Chantelle Houghton in 2009 – he then blew that as well and she later called him a ‘nasty little rat’.

Despite his foul-play Defoe continued to have a successful career in north London, and red cards off the park proved no red flag for X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke who dated the ace until 2012 when, you guessed it, he got caught cheating again.

By 2016 the philanderer had declared himself a devout teetotal Christian and was dating a lap dancer who dumped her husband for the then Sunderland man.

Some years later and now a changed man, the 38-year-old has swapped the weakness between his legs for a weak heart as this summer he proposed to Scottish beauty therapist Donna Tierney with a massive diamond ring.

The ex-Tottenham player still thinks about Bradley Lowery everyday after he died of cancer in 2017

Things might have changed for Defoe after he grabbed the attention of the nation in 2017 by forming a heart-warming friendship with a six-year-old terminally ill boy.

It started when young Bradley Lowery acted as a mascot at The Stadium of Light in the months before his death, later leading England out at Wembley as they took on Lithuania.

Defoe was by the side of his little “best mate” in the weeks before his death and told the BBC this February he still thinks about him everyday.

He also said he was still in contact with the heartbroken Lowery family, who are expecting baby number three in November.

Famously Defoe was unable to hold back his emotions the night before young Brad died of the rare neuroblastoma on his brain.
