Detectives are searching for the man in this picture after a teenage boy was sexually assaulted on a London bus.

An unidentified man started speaking to the victim at the bus stop near the White Hart Roundabout in Northolt, west London, just after 4pm on August 12.

They both got onto the route 282 bus, going towards Ealing Hospital, and the man followed the child onto the top deck and sat next to him.

The man then made remarks of a sexual nature and touched the victim inappropriately.

Detective Inspector John Millward said: ‘This was a frightening experience for the young victim.

‘Fortunately, he did not sustain any physical injuries, but he was understandably left very shaken.’

We’re investigating the sexual assault of a teenage boy on a bus in #Ealing and we want to identify this man.

If you know who he is, please call 101, providing the reference 5822/13AUG or contact Crimestoppers.https://t.co/00q5Xf7uOH

Now, a manhunt has been launched to find the predator and police have released the CCTV image of someone they want to speak to.

Detective Millward wants anyone who was on the bus at the time of the assault or anyone who recognises the man pictured to get in touch.

He believes they could provide ‘crucial information’ to the case.
