A person is in a serious condition in a London hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Margate.
Ambulance, fire crews and the police attended the scene in Caxton Road shortly after 1am on Thursday (October 7).
The air ambulance also attended and airlifted the person to a London hospital where they are in a ‘serious condition’

As of 10am, the road was still closed as investigation work continued.
KentLive has contacted Kent Police for a statement on the crash.
The South East Coast Ambulance service said: “We were called shortly after 1am today (7 October) to reports a person had been hit by a vehicle in Caxton Road, Margate.
“Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by the air ambulance service.
“A man was assessed and treated before being airlifted to hospital in London in a serious condition.”

Caxton Road is in Garlinge and Garlinge Primary School sits on the corner of the road.
