Investigating officer PC Stuart Dunne of the WA VSU said: “It is sheer luck that no officers or members of the public were seriously injured as a result of Jatinder Sahota’s dangerous and reckless actions.
“Because of the professionalism and bravery demonstrated by officers a dangerous individual is behind bars and a significant quantity of drugs removed from our streets.
“The custodial sentence in this case reflects the seriousness of the criminality Jatinder Sahota was involved in.”
