The London Marathon is undoubtedly one of the biggest events to be held in London.
From the runners to the volunteers, the race attracts people from all over the country from all walks of life.
Whether competing to challenge themselves, to raise money for causes they hold dear, or in the memory of a loved one, there were incredible stories throughout the 50,000 strong field this year, the biggest the race has ever seen.
There were also another 50,000 competitors joining those on the 26.3-mile central London course from around the world, competing virtually.
That’s not to mention the elite athletes who led the field away, striving for excellence in their execution of the race.
Whichever you were most keen to see, the London Marathon creates an incredible atmosphere for runners and spectators alike, and this year was no different.
