Sainsbury’s staff member stabbed by customer

Police are appealing for information after a member of staff at a Sainsbury’s Local in South West London was injured in a knife attack.

On September 5 at 8.19pm in a Sainsbury’s Local in Norbiton, a member of staff was assaulted with a knife.

The staff member suffered a minor injury in the attack.

Kingston Police is appealing for information about the incident, and are specifically looking to speak to the man pictured about it.

He is wearing a black hoodie and clutching a number of items for sale in the shop.

If you know who he is, police ask you to call 101 or contact Crimestoppers stating the reference number 0409190/21.

Kingston Police tweeted: “On 05/09/21 at 20:19 hrs at Sainsbury’s Local #Norbiton, a member of staff was assaulted with a knife and sustained a minor injury.

“We want to speak to this male in relation to the incident. Know who he is? Call 101 or contact @CrimestoppersUK Ref: 0409190/21”
