Haringey ‘murder’: Man, 36, found dead in house named for first time

A man who was found dead with stab wounds, and serious injuries to his head, in a property in Haringey has been named as Ergys Koci, 36, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.

On Tuesday (September 21) Mr Koci’s body was discovered in a property on West Green Road in South Tottenham.

A post-mortem examination established Mr Koci’s cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

He had also suffered several stab injuries.

Detectives investigating his death have since charged Briken Quni, 42 with murder.

Quni appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (September 25), where he was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on September, 28.

The family of Mr Koci have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
