Person hit by train between Slough and London Paddington – recap

A person has been hit by a train between London Paddington and Slough.

Emergency services arrived at the scene of the incident, with railway services blocked and some trains cancelled as a result.

Services to Heathrow Airport were among those affected, as disruption to train services lasted until 3.45pm.

GWR trains to Reading, Heathrow Express services and Transport for London Rail trains were affected.

A National Rail spokesperson said at the time of the incident: “A person has been hit by a train between London Paddington and Slough.

“As all lines are currently closed, trains may be cancelled or diverted until the end of the day.”
