The one London borough where Covid infection rates are rising

Infection rates have fallen in every London borough but one, according to the latest government data.

Kensington and Chelsea is the only borough to have seen an overall rise in infections from September 5 to September 12.

The area recorded 333 new cases in that time, raising its infection rate to 212.3.

Since that time however, cases have dropped in the area, with new the case rate from 9 to 15 September down to 188.1.

Harrow remains the most infected place in the capital with a rate of 263.9 per 100,000 people with 666 new cases being reported in the borough since September 5, but this is a decrease from the weeks before.

Meanwhile, Hackney is the least infected place in the city and the fourth least infected in the whole country with a rate of 155.9.
