The Eagles have started the season well under Patrick Vieira’s management, and sit 11th in the table heading into their clash with Jurgen Klopp’s side. Last time out Palace picked up their first win of the Vieira era, overcoming Spurs 3-0 at in what was a brilliant performance in front of a packed Selhurst Park.
Liverpool are currently third in the table, level on points with Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton after winning three and drawing one of their first four games. The Reds beat AC Milan 3-2 in the Champions League on Wednesday night and last time out in the Premier League beat Leeds United 3-0 at Elland Road.
Vieira doesn’t have any fresh injury concerns heading into the match, with Jeffrey Schlupp still missing after his injury sustained with Ghana while long-term absentees Nathan Ferguson and Eberechi Eze remain unavailable.
Liverpool meanwhile are without Roberto Firmino and Harvey Elliott, though should have Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk available after both were on the bench for the visit of AC Milan.
