A major motorway is currently blocked due to protesters, causing delays.
Insulate Britain protestors are currently blocking the M11 this morning (Friday, September 17).
The protesters are encamped on the slip road onto the busy road near London Stansted Airport.
There is also a small group on the M25’s Brook Street Roundabout near Brentwood, Essex.
My London has approached Essex Police for more information.
Insulate Britain confirmed the protests on the M25 in a tweet, saying: “We’re waiting to hear from the government.
“#InsulateBritain block the # M25 for a third time in a week causing long delays.
“79 citizens have blocked the M25, hours after release, because we cannot afford to give up.”
