A 12-year-old boy is fighting for his life in hospital following a crash involving a motorbike.
Ambulances and London’s Air Ambulance were sent to the crash at 5.06pm today (Thursday, September 16), on Harrow Road in Wembley.
Police released a statement to say they were called to reports of a road traffic collision ‘involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian’.
The police statement said: “Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
“A boy, believed to be aged 12 years old, was taken to hospital.
“His condition is currently being treated as life-threatening.
“The rider of the motorcycle stopped at the scene.”
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses following the serious collision.
Road closures are currently in place and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
No arrests have been made, and Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
