Most of us know what it’s like to not quite see eye-to-eye with a neighbour.
Noise complaints, bin disagreements and lost packages are among the usual reasons Londoners may be inclined to bicker with someone living next door.
One disgruntled East London resident, however, has something even more intense to complain about.

Taking to Reddit, the anonymous Londoner said: “I am living in a building close to Cambridge Heath . As mentioned in the title, someone is peeing regularly in the lift.
“We are lucky to have people cleaning but I feel really sorry for them.
“This might seem trivial but this is starting to be really annoying as it is happening almost every day.
“I have been trying to find a way to deal with that but I have never caught this guy in the act (which is good in a way).
“What would you do? Do you have any ideas or recommendations?!”
The post quickly picked up traction as other users chimed in with advice and possible solutions to stop the unruly urinator.

One joker had an unorthodox suggestion: “Up the stakes and leave a massive poo in the lift.”
Another user’s advice was more practical: “Get onto the management company and ask for CCTV to be installed in the lift. I can’t see them objecting, as the extra cleaning will be costing money.”
Someone else suggested that putting up a notice may be enough to deter the culprit: “Even just a sign saying they’ve installed CCTV might go a long way here.”
Whichever solution the resident goes for, the other social media users certainly don’t envy this resident or the awkward conversation they potentially have in the future.
