Antonio and Zouma to start, Areola decision – West Ham predicted XI vs Dinamo Zagreb

West Ham go into their Europa League clash against Dinamo Zagreb unbeaten so far this season after two wins and two draws in four matches.

If David Moyes’ team can maintain that record in Croatia, the Hammers will leave Zagreb content with their evening’s work.

Dinamo are a team Moyes is not taking lightly with Damir Krznar’s team dumping Tottenham out of last season’s Europa League last 16 with a 3-0 victory at the Stadion Maksimir.

The Hammers manager has some big decisions to make regarding his starting XI with three men- Alphonse Areola, Alex Kral and Kurt Zouma – all pushing for West Ham debuts.

All three players are experienced European performers and Moyes is expected to hand starts to both Zouma and Vlasic with Kral set to play a part off the bench.

Areola could start ahead of Lukasz Fabianski with Zouma set to replace Dawson at the heart of the West Ham defence.

However, Fabianski is expected to remain in goal with a back four of Vladimir Coufal, Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna, and Aaron Cresswell ahead of him.

In front of the defence, Declan Rice is expected to once again captain the side alongside his usual partner Tomas Soucek.

Alex Kral provides an extra option in midfield but is likely to make his Hammers debut off the bench.

With Michail Antonio suspended from Sunday’s clash with Manchester United, the Jamaican international is sure to start in Zagreb in his usual lone striker position.

Nikola Vlasic, returning to his native Croatia, could be handed his first Hammers start in an attacking midfield role with Said Benrahma’s position in danger following a poor performance against Southampton.

If the Croatian international is given then nod he will start in the No.10 role with Pablo Fornals on the left and Jarrod Bowen the right.

With four matches in ten days, Moyes is expected to make a number of changes this evening and make full use of his substitute’s bench throughout the evening.
