Red Arrows ExCel flypast: When and where you can see the Red Arrows flying over Essex today

Today (September 14) the Red Arrows will be flying over parts of Essex as they do a flypast of the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) at the ExCel arena in London.

They’ll be doing a loop, coming down to London past the Hertfordshire/Essex border, and coming back over Essex, flying over Brentwood on their way up into Suffolk.

The Royal Airforce Aerobatics Team (The Red Arrows) have been training all year for the summer’s performances, practicing their famous formations, loops and displays.

The Red Arrows will fly down to the east of Hoddesdon at 12.12pm, nearing Woodfood in east London two minutes later at 12.14pm.

After flying over the ExCel arena at 12.15pm, the flying formation will loop around London before heading back up through Essex.

The Red Arrows will fly over Gravesend at 12.17pm and fly north towards Brentwood, over Tillbury, past Grays, Orsett, Bulphan, West Horndon, and Herongate.

The planes will continue north east of Brentwood, up to Ingatestone and over east Chelmsford and Great Baddow.

Then the Red Arrows will fly over Witham and up to Colchester, flying over the west side of the town and then through Langham, Dedham before passing into Suffolk.
