London crime: East London drug dealer posing as Just Eat delivery man arrested

Police have arrested a ‘fake’ Just Eat delivery driver after he was caught delivering drugs instead of food in East London yesterday.

The Met’s MPS Specials unit caught the drug dealer as he cycled through Shoreditch to make a delivery last night (Friday, September 10).

Photos from the scene show the man dressed in full Just Eat attire, with one of the brand’s signature branded orange coats, and an iconic cube-shaped delivery bag to match.

But following a police search, the man was found to be carrying, not takeaway food as his uniform suggested, but bags of drugs and stacks of cash.

Nine bags of marijuana and piles of cash were confiscated from the fake delivery worker by police

Photos shared by police of the confiscated goods showed what appeared to be nine bags of marijuana, and at least £200 in cash taken from the man’s person.
