The man then tried to grab the victim’s phone before pulling her from the carriage onto the platform.
He then snatched the victim’s phone while the woman held her so he could get away.
The pair then ran out of the station but they were chased by passersby who managed to recover the victim’s phone.
Officers believe the people in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
