Polices said they are aware the stones hit some people, and are asking for anyone with information to call them at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Trudeau was boarding his campaign bus Monday afternoon after an event in London when someone in a crowd of about 100 rowdy protesters threw stones at him.

Trudeau told reporters Tuesday he felt stones hit him, but that he wasn’t hurt. A London Free Press video of the incident shows his reaction to getting hit, turning around sharply before turning back and entering his campaign bus.

Many of the protesters were clad in the purple garb of the People’s Party of Canada.
