ITV Tipping Point: Fans do double take after ‘recognising famous contestant’ as TV personality

Last night on ITV’s Tipping Point viewers had a case of deja vu after mistakenly believing host Ben Shephard was accompanied by Clare Balding on the teatime show.

Fans of the show poured on to social media on September 6 to rave about Antonia’s likeness to the well known TV presenter.

Sadly, despite her famous doppelganger Antonia was among the first two contestants to be axed on Monday’s episode.

Sharing comments and memes on Twitter, Tipping Point fans shared their hot takes on the quiz’s first show of the week reports the Daily Star.

One fan commented: “Antonio looks like Clare balding.”

“First time I’d noticed Clare Balding was a style icon,” said another.

“Poundland Clare Balding,” added a third viewer, rather critically.

Viewers were glued to the episode

The resemblance was uncanny to some viewers but unfortunately, Antonia did not last long on the game show.

After her early exit, one commented: “Antonia said it’s been great. That’s better than good, yeah?”

“Bye Antonia,” said a second, unemotionally.

“Antonia seems nice y’all,” another reckoned.

And another fan chipped in with: “Antonia looks at Karen with plenty of hate.”
