Arsenal news and transfers recap: £51m Isak move, Arteta decides on Aurier, triple injury blow

Welcome to’s live Arsenal blog.

The transfer window has now closed and the north London club’s hefty summer rebuild under Mikel Arteta and Edu is now finished.

The Gunners ended the window as the Premier League’s biggest spenders after splashing in excess of £150million on six new players, with Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard and Takehiro Tomiyasu all joining the Arteta revolution.

There were also a number of outgoings with Reiss Nelson, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira and William Saliba among those to seal temporary moves away from the Emirates Stadium.

Hale End graduate Joe Willock and French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi also both left the club, with the latter joining Marseille initially on loan with an obligation to buy next summer.

Despite the window being shut, we will continue to bring you all the latest Arsenal news, views and rumours throughout Friday in our blog below.
