Police appeal over bus which may have been involved in mum’s murder

Police investigating the murder of mum-of-four Helen Anderson are urging anyone who saw a particular bus in North London to get in touch.

Her body was found by a member of the public on a slip road of the A3 near Guildford on August 23.

A investigation was launched leading to 51-year-old Dane Messam, of Henry Road, Hackney, charged with murder.

Detectives from Surrey Police are on the case and have released images of a decommissioned double decker bus which may have been involved.

Detective Chief Inspector Emma Vicker said: “We are continuing to appeal for witnesses in relation to this investigation.

Helen Anderson, 41, was found dead in Guildford

“In particular, we would like to speak to anyone who saw a decommissioned double decker Brighton and Hove bus in the North London area between 7.30pm on August 20 and 3pm on August 23.

“We are also keen to speak to anyone who saw the same bus either driving or stationary in the Guildford area between the hours of 3am and 4am on 23 August.
