Vauxhall ‘shooting’: Man rushed to hospital with stab wounds after reports of shots fired in South London

A man, believed to be in his 20s, has been rushed to hospital with stab wounds following reports of gunshots being fired in South London.

Police were called at 3.49pm on Monday August 30 to reports of shots fired at Dorset Road in Vauxhall.

Police, paramedics, and an air ambulance attended and found a man with knife wounds.

He was rushed to a Central London hospital where police await an update on his condition.

The Met say the victim’s family are aware of the incident and are being supported by officers.

Police cordons and closures remain in the area.

There have not yet been any arrests.
