Man, 41, dies after collapsing in a Hounslow car park

A 41-year-old man has died after collapsing in a West London car park.

The Met Police and London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called at 5.12pm on Saturday (August 28) to reports of a man collapsed in a car park on Montague Road, Hounslow.

The car park is very close to Hounslow police station.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man was sadly declared dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem will be arranged to take place soon to determine the cause of death.

When police arrived they arrested a 36-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of drugs offences. He has been bailed to return on a date in mid-September.

A crime scene was in place but has now been closed.

Police from West Area BCU continue to investigate the incident.
