Highways England has reported that the M1 has reopened both Northbound and Southbound at Junction 5 (for the A4008, Watford) following a closure at around 10pm on Monday night (August 30). Earlier we reported: Owing to a police incident, all traffic is being diverted off the road via the exit slip, before being able to re-join at the entry slip. Traffic officers and the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit are currently at the scene. Junction 5 of M1 reopened after earlier closure
Highways England have reported that Junction 5 of the M1 has now reopened in both directions.
