Performers wanted by Greenwich council for dance festival – South London News

Greenwich council is calling for performers of all levels to get involved in their new dance festival.

Connecting Communities Dance Festival is launching this October and will feature in this year’s Black History 365 celebrations.

The five-day dance extravaganza will run throughout half-term.

It will showcase collaborations between residents, community groups and dance professionals in the cultural styles of African, Asian and Caribbean diaspora communities.

Kauma Arts will work with residents to develop the vibrant festival that will shine a light on the diversity and depth of dance and culture in the borough.
