London crime: Teenager, 19, taken to hospital after being ‘stabbed multiple times’ in East London

A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being found with ‘multiple stab wounds’ in East London today (August 28).

Police were called to the scene in Harold Hill, Havering, at around 4.30pm this afternoon where they found the injured teenager.

The teen was taken to hospital for treatment, but, according to the Met, at present his condition remains unknown.

Police arrested two men nearby on suspicion of attempted murder and they were taken to the police station for questioning.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 16:39hrs on Saturday 28 August to an injured male at Myrtle Road and Barberry Close, Havering, RM3.

“Officers attended, along with the Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance and found a 19-year-old male with multiple stab wounds.

“The male was taken to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown at present.

“Two men were arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder and taken to a police station for questioning.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. A crime scene remains in place.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting CAD 4845/28Aug.”
