West Ham United have enjoyed an excellent start to their 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
The Hammers overcame Newcastle United on the opening day of the season, beating the Magpies 4-2 at St James’ Park in what was a convincing display considering they found themselves behind twice.
David Moyes’ side continued their fine vein of form on Monday night, overcoming Leicester City 4-1 in what was a brilliant performance from the east London side.
To make matters even better, English frontman Michail Antonio became the club’s all-time leading top scorer in the Premier League era, surpassing Italian playmaker Paolo Di Canio’s 47-goal haul after notching his 48th and 49th top-flight goals against the Foxes.
And after the game, the 31-year-old admitted he had been thinking about the record throughout the contest against Brendan Rodgers’ side.

“Did any of you get what celebration it was by the way? I want you all to guess! Saved the last dance, the little lift at the end! “
