Reality TV star and presenter, Kem Cetinay rose to fame after winning the 2017 edition of Love Island, alongside his then girlfriend Amber Davies.
He’ll be hoping to continue his winning streak in Series 16 of Celebrity Masterchef, where he’s showing off his cooking skills to famous TV chefs.
At the age of 25 Kem is the youngest person to take part in this year’s edition of the BBC cooking competition. But he’s already had a lot of life experience from being a hairdresser to presenting on TV.

Before his on-screen success, Kem had his own business as a hair stylist in Essex. He’s said to have cut hair for the cast of TOWIE, as well as Spencer Matthews and Calum Best.
Life changed for Kem after winning Love Island. Apart from the £50,000 prize money which he split with castmate Amber Davies, his popularity with viewers while in the villa led to an immediate spin-off show.
The programme aired in 2017 and featured fellow Love Islander Chris Hughes, who he had a bromance with on the show.
‘Chris & Kem: Straight Outta Love Island’ followed the pair as they took on life outside of dating on TV, pursuing their passion for music and exploring the world of rap, grime and hip-hop.

They released their own song, ‘Little Bit Leave It’, the same month the show aired and it got to number 15 on the charts.
Kem’s run of reality TV success continued in 2018 when he took part in Dancing On Ice. He came fourth in the competition with partner Alex Murphy, but he gained real success after the show when he was offered a permanent role as a backstage reporter.

Being a presenter is what Kem has done most well with in his career. He now has his own podcast with co-star Arielle Free, called Love Island: The Morning After. He’s also worked for ITV This Morning as an entertainment reporter.
Celebrity Masterchef is on on Friday, August 20 at 9pm on BBC One.
